It is actually possible to recall or unsend emails of your google mail id both from any browser or the android Gmail app Heres how...

Unsend or Recall emails on Gmail - Tec2.in

As we are getting more accustomed to casual texting we've kinda rusted our emailing skills leading to various mistakes and blunders that we really want to undo, there's not a dedicated button physical or virtual for this, but there is a way.

You might even have noticed that when you send an email you do get an undo option there below for about 30 seconds max if you have that timer set.

Once you press that button immediately the mail will be canceled but do remember that once you've refreshed that page the option will fade away.
Or even if you press any other button before doing away with the undo button, in that case too the button will be gone as the page gets refreshed.

Google also offers a smart feature called confidential mode in Gmail which if you enable, recipients won't be able to forward, copy, print, or download that email.

Recalling or Unsend an Email

Step 1: If you want to unsend the email or if you've sent it to the wrong address you do not have much time to cancel it.

Step 2: In the bottom left corner you'll probably see the message sent along with the option to undo or view the message.

Step 3: Click Undo.

Choosing an amount of time during which the mail can be recalled

Step 1: Go to Gmail

Step 2: In the top right, click settings browse all settings.

Step 3: Next to the "Undo Send" Option you'll see, select a Send cancellation Period of 5, 10, 20, 30 seconds.

So these were the steps and procedures that can save you the embarrassment of wrongly sent emails.
Hope it helps.
