The game maker Activision is geared up on two heavy Call of Duty Projects for the year 2022, the game giant declared on Friday. Of the two, one is an upcoming sequel to 2019 released Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, the other is a new revamped warzone experience, both of which are to be developed parallelly from the ground up, as per a blog post.

However, it is still not known whether the update is unrelated to previous versions experience, or a substantial makeover in the fades of Fortnite's gigantic Chapter Variations, & the makers haven't replied to requests asking for clarification of the same, however, they sure do promise some big things.
According to us, you can expect a whole new evolved version of battle royale with a never seen before playspace along with a new sandbox mode, the blog assures, introducing a new engine cool enough to power both the new Call of Duty game and this new warzone.
Development of both these new happenings will be led by Infinity Ward, the magician studio that made Modern Warfare, Infinite Warfare, Ghosts, and other COD titles (also the original).

Activision also declared other things about how it will improve the current Warzone Experience, which has recently been on the receiving end of some serious flak due to bugs, some exploits, and the increasing prevalence of cheaters in the ecosystem.
Activision blizzard as a unit has come under the eyes of several lawsuits regarding workplace culture, harassment, discrimination, and stuff.

In January, Microsoft also announced its intention of acquiring Activision Blizzard for $68.7 billion. While COD would definitely prove to be a promising Xbox-only property, statements now suggest that it plans to keep COD and other Activision Blizzard games across multiple avenues.
